Learn how the organic movement began, what the USDA Organic certification really means, and how organic farming benefits our land, farmers, water, and communities. Whether you’re a curious consumer, a backyard gardener, or a local producer, this presentation will deepen your understanding of how organic agriculture supports both human and environmental health.

Ethan Book, TOPP Education & Outreach Coordinator, with the Iowa Organic Association will share insights into soil stewardship, sustainable growing practices, and the economic and ecological value of choosing organic.


Doors at 5:30, Presentation starts at 6. There will be time for questions and open discussion following the presentation—plus a chance to connect with others who care about healthy food and a thriving planet. Light snacks provided.
